About This Site

I am a lover of History. For me, a history text book is as exciting as a classic novel. It is one of the most important subjects we learn in school. Everyone and everything has a past, and it is that past that moves us forward.

I have created this blog mainly for myself, but a few others have followed me and hopefully, more and more will come along for the ride. Please understand, I am not a professional so this will not be a professional blog. I will try to put things in some kind of order but this is just me, wanting to have all my favorite sites in one place. If you find a site that should be somewhere else, it's either because I wanted it there or I couldn't decide. If there is a site that could be in many categories, I will probably put it in the General History post. Meaning it covers all history. So, any History teachers out there, I apologize ahead of time for any goofs I make.

Now, this is probably the most I will ever write on this site. Some of you know about my other blog: Computer Fun For Everyone. Catchy title huh? Anyway, I am a links kinda girl. I don't talk much. I just like to let the websites I put here do the talking. They do it far better than I ever could. Like the other blog, you navigate using the sidebars. This is a work in progress and I guess always will be. When I find something cool I will add it....that is when I can make myself stop reading and exploring long enough to add it. I will have things for adults and I will work extra hard to find some fun sites for kids of all ages. They are our future and are the most important ones to visit here. I won't forget that. If by some chance I do, let me know it!

In the posts you will see : "Updated: and a date". That is when I last checked for broken links. If you find any let me know.

Remember, if you want to make the world a better place, you must first learn from the past. It talks to all of us. Sometimes in a whisper, sometimes with a scream. But we have to stop long enough to listen before we can fully grasp it's meaning. Listen. Learn.

Knowledge truly is power.
